OUR CONSULTANTS
Lantern & Scroll is the first direct to retail store completely owned by Copper Lighting Company.
In 1963 the predecessors of Copper Lighting Company began handcrafting reproductions of lanterns that lined the streets of Charleston, South Carolina. Originally located in a small Columbia, SC workshop the artisans painstakingly manufactured these 100% copper lanterns. Over the years, the company changed names and moved factories, but still retained the core mission to reproduce the period lighting of the Old South.
Copper Lighting Company today has grown to become the premier copper lighting manufacturer in America. Copper Lighting Company prides itself on manufacturing quality, handmade copper lighting in gas and electric. All manufacturing, from cutting the raw copper sheets, to installing gas and electric fittings, occurs in the factory in Cayce, SC. Today the factory can ship your order within two weeks. Copper Lighting Company is an industry leader, in this respect, faster than competitors by at least 4 weeks. Whilst keeping true to our heritage of reproducing historic lanterns, today Copper Lighting Company also manufactures modern pieces alongside the traditional line of lighting.
